Oman Visas
When you plan a trip to any country it is important to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the visa requirements. This is because international travel has become complex these days and one needs to be fully prepared before flying to their destination. The same goes for Oman. In the recent past, the Gulf country has seen an increased number of tourists.
To make the visa process simple, Oman has designated certain countries under the G1 category, which allows for simplified or expedited visa applications. In this blog, we will provide a list of G1 countries and cover the specific visa permissions and rules for these countries. Let’s begin!
What Are G1 Countries?
The G1 classification refers to countries whose citizens are eligible for simplified visa procedures when traveling to Oman. This system is part of Oman's efforts to promote tourism and business exchanges because it offers a quicker and more accessible visa process for citizens of certain countries.
G1 nationals can apply for an Omani visa through the Royal Oman Police’s (ROP) eVisa portal online or obtain a visa on arrival, with fewer documentation requirements compared to other countries. But, do keep in mind the rules may vary from one G1 country to another.
